Après de longues discussions, des échanges profonds avec nos leaders et sympathisants, j’ai pris le temps de la réflexion, avec sérénité et responsabilité. Aujourd’hui, face à l’histoire et face à ma conscience, j’ai fait un choix qui incarne mes valeurs et mes convictions.

En effet, nous sommes à un tournant décisif pour notre pays, pour nos institutions, et pour notre avenir collectif. Mon engagement envers vous et envers la nation a toujours été dicté par une volonté d’agir pour le progrès et pour l’intérêt commun. C’est dans cet esprit que je réaffirme aujourd’hui mon alignement ferme derrière le Président Macky Sall, dont la vision et l’action pour le Sénégal restent, pour moi, la meilleure voie pour notre développement.
Je suis plus que jamais engagé à accompagner la liste de l’APR (Alliance pour la République) avec détermination et loyauté, car il ne s’agit plus de moi, mais du destin de notre pays.
Il est parfois plus facile de choisir la voie de la division, de céder aux pressions et de tourner le dos aux responsabilités. Mais je préfère, en ce moment crucial, assumer mes convictions et porter haut les valeurs que nous partageons.
Comme le disait si bien l’écrivain : « Il est facile de quitter le navire en pleine tempête, mais seuls les marins courageux restent à bord pour naviguer à travers l’orage. »
C’est cet engagement que je prends, avec vous, pour l’avenir de notre mouvement, de notre nation.
